SYMPHONY: TRANSITION IN ASCENSION | SPECIAL PROJECTS
Agua Dulce
Symphony: Transition in Ascension
A layered sound journey by the pool with Agua Dulce playing sound bowls and gong in unison with a tapestry of recorded flutes and sound bowls by Ry. Dulce will be encapsulated with natural plant matter and concrete sculptures by artist Lucía Aquino, while a slow motion, distorted Everglades by Matty Jonas and Tom Mickelson is projected onto the scene. This collaboration merges sound, sculpture, performance and video to create a multi-sensory experience. The recorded audio will chime along with the live performance, layering into a mellow symphony-like surround sound projected through mics and a PA system for the fairgoers to experience at the pool or while wondering about.
